Salon Boat
The Adeline originally served in Germany as a salon tour boat for tourists visiting the Siebengebirge Mountains. The boat made round trips on the Rhine and at the time could accommodate 150 people. The ship later fell into disrepair. Jan Huisman of Amsterdam bought up the ship and gradually trimmed the steelwork. In 2006, Rederij Belle acquired the Adeline and completed the final part of the restoration.
alonboat Adeline has been restored entirely in 1920s atmosphere, complete with stylish original details. The ship is also fully equipped to provide you with contemporary comfort and excellent catering during your cruise.
The Adeline is the largest saloon boat that can cruise the Amsterdam canals and can accommodate parties of 20 to 60 people.
Amstel & the Vecht
With our salon boat Adeline, you can take a beautiful cruise through Amsterdam’s canals, the Amstel River and even across the Vecht River. The Adeline is a very suitable salon boat for your wedding party on a boat, company outing or even as a party boat or funeral boat in Amsterdam. A cruise is possible in any season and weather. In nice, warm weather, we can open part of the ship so you can enjoy the fresh sailing breeze. In colder weather, you will be nice and dry and warm during the cruise, the salon boat is well heated by central heating. Amsterdam & the Vecht
The standard embarkation point for the salon boat Adeline is Amsterdam. Where in Amsterdam, you decide in advance in consultation with our reservation staff. There are many possible pick-up locations in Amsterdam, such as near Central Station, at the Stopera or at one of the many restaurants and hotels. Your cruise can also start or end outside the center of Amsterdam, for example at the Omval or the Nieuwe Meer, in Amsterdam-Noord and in various places along the Amstel River, such as Oudekerk, Nes and Uithoorn. If desired, the salon boat Adeline can also come to the Vecht for a cruise on this romantic river. Be sure to ask about the possibilities!
Luxury boat arrangements for special occasions
Amsterdam’s ring of canals is a unique world-class monument and was awarded a place on the Unesco World Heritage List in 2010 for good reason. Amsterdam’s ring of canals was built during the Golden Age and grew into a distinctive environment where many wealthy financiers from the world of commerce settled. This can still be seen today in the richly decorated buildings on Singel, Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht. A cruise through this special part of Amsterdam is a highlight for the many (international) visitors who visit Amsterdam daily.
With the salon boat Adeline, you can take a cruise through this area. In consultation with the captain, you can plan your own route through the canals. This will take you to places in the ring of canals during your cruise where regular canal boats do not go. We can also arrange for a guide on board, who will provide a detailed explanation of the origins of Amsterdam and its canals.

The salon boat Adeline can carry up to 60 people. For a seated dinner at the table or a sumptuous buffet, the maximum is 50 people.
The Vecht is known for its romance. The many beautiful wedding venues on the banks of the Vecht are proof of that. In most municipalities through which the Vecht flows, you can get married with the officiant aboard our ship.
Beauty is on the outside and inside
The times of the cruise on the salon boat Adeline can be adjusted entirely to your wishes. For example, you can take an afternoon cruise with a High Tea for 30 people or a beautiful evening cruise through the city of Amsterdam. You can also combine your cruise with dinner aboard the salon boat or a running dinner past excellent restaurants along the canals.
