The lemsteraak Grote Jager van Rederij Belle is a regal sailing ship that you can hire for a regal company outing in Muiden. It is one of the fastest lemsteraken in our country. She sails naturally and always in royal tranquility. From the Muiden fortress, let yourself be carried along on a cloud of white sails.

There are plenty of options for your day of sailing on a lemsteraak and of course we will be happy to think along with you if you have any special requirements.
You want to have meetings with colleagues but also a bit of sailing? A whole day of sailing, that might be a bit long… Then why not make a nice morning or afternoon trip to have a meeting? For example, working in the morning and sailing and meeting in the afternoon: this is a very pleasant combination. And, lunch can possibly be served on board the lemsteraak.
On a boat, everything is different because on a ship, time soon doesn’t count and the horizon arouses curiosity. It is no longer about where you came from, but only about where you want to go. However, the most important thing is the moment. How is the wind? How is the water? And, what can we do to make the most of it?

The mysterious Fort Island of Pampus has great appeal to anyone who has seen or read anything about it, so a visit is highly recommended. And, if you sail there in an original lemsteraak, it becomes quite an experience. So, hoist the sails and off to Pampus!

Reception by the crew with coffee or tea and homemade treats. The skipper keeps
a welcoming speech and briefly talks about the ship.

The mooring lines break loose for your sailing trip. Along the way you will pass the Muiderslot and the Royal
Muiden Marina.

The sails are hoisted. If you like it you can help the skipper hoist sails,
steering and navigation.

A delicious culinary lunch of your choice will be served in the cockpit.

If there is sufficient wind, it is possible to make a stopover in Marken or Volendam for a
walk on “The Dike. If there is less wind, you can visit the Fort Island
Pampus (part of the “Stelling van Amsterdam”).

Snacks and drinks from the bar are served on deck.

End of a beautiful day of sailing. You will be back at the port of Muiden.
You can hire this sailing ship for a whole day, half-day or evening or a two-day trip where you stay overnight in hotel.
Our sailing ship Lemsteraak Grote Jager has her berth at Herengracht t/o 43 in Muiden. A short walk from the berth are two large (free) parking lots. You cannot park on the Herengracht, but you can load/unload.

From both parking lots, follow the hiking trails to “Ferry Pampus.” The Great Hunter is located near the ferry service.

During the process, we have been in touch with a couple of very friendly staff who have helped organized a boat viewing first and then later everything for the wedding party. On the day the captain and hostess met us with enthusiasm and were very attentive towards our guests. Our captain even worked together with the maid of honor to organize a special route for a surprise and our hostess made an extra effort to present the wedding cake and drinks beautifully decorated with some flowers.
