For this boat ride, we recommend an early and light lunch. Or else a late breakfast. So that by about three o’clock you will be really hungry for a traditional English treat: High Tea, served on the Vecht.
You board in picturesque Weesp and step onto a beautiful saloon boat. Together with close friends and family, you cruise down the river in style. The view is stunning and ever-changing: green banks, rippling waters, charming farmhouses, and classic country estates glide by.
Your High Tea will be served right on the Vecht River. It’s quintessentially English, featuring a perfect blend of sweet and savory treats: mini brownies, mini cheesecake, sandwiches, cream puffs, scones, savory muffins, and fresh fruit—a table full of delicacies to savor at your leisure. Of course, there’s a wide selection of tea blends, and how about a glass of bubbly?
Everything is going exactly as planned. Would you like anything extra? The crew is here to make your experience complete.

Properly considered, high tea is supper consumed, with tea, at a high table. In the afternoon, people in England serve afternoon tea, with all kinds of tasty snacks. And we call those, in turn, the High Tea. Who cares. As long as your High Tea on the Vecht is delicious.
Along the Vecht are numerous convenient boarding points (with parking) to begin your boat tour. For example, you can board the boat in Weesp or Muiden. From there you can sail back and forth for a bit, or disembark in another place. We can arrange transportation back to your starting point for you.
For example, your boat trip on the Vecht with High Tea could look like this.

We offer the High Tea package on the Vecht on several salon boats, for groups of 25 to 70 people. For a two-hour boat tour departing from Weesp, the estimated price for this package is
€99 per person.
