Christmas represents togetherness, and a Christmas outing on the water like this certainly provides that. Our ships are of course decorated in Christmas atmosphere and whether you are a small or a slightly larger company, you will be fine with us. In addition to four luxury salon boats, we also have the steamer Success with room for as many as 110 people.
Along the way, we offer exquisite catering, from lunch, brunch and dressed drinks to a complete three-course dinner, which can even be prepared on board by a chef.
Perhaps you would also like entertainment on board? We’ll take care of it. A singing Santa Claus? We will find it for you.
The sailing time and program can be put together entirely by mutual agreement. In this sample program, we combine a stop at a museum and a catered three-course dinner.
15.00 The captain will receive you aboard your boat. We will serve you and your guests a welcome drink.
3.30 p.m. The mooring ropes are cast off and your cruise begins.
4 p.m. We make a stop at the Hermitage Museum on the Amstel. By this time, you will have made your choice from the menu, which our hostess will pass on to the restaurant.
5 p.m. Return on board to continue the cruise.
5:30 p.m. We set course for the restaurant, where the dishes are brought on board hot and fresh. The three-course dinner is served, which you can enjoy while sailing.
7:30 p.m. End of the package, you are back at the place of departure.
For dinner, we cooperate with a first-class restaurant. Several menus are available for your company’s Christmas outing. We are happy to help you make a choice. Here we make a tasty suggestion in advance.
Starter
• Shellfish cocktail, Zeeland mussels and smoked mackerel with lime mayonnaise, avocado cream and spicy cucumber salad
• Domestic duck pâté with sauerkraut salad, salted croutons, sweet and sour sauce and cranberry jam
• Vegetarian salad of mixed beans and brunoise vegetables with tzatziki and roasted garlic
Main course
• Roasted sea bass and scallops with oven potatoes, green vegetables and shellfish sauce
• Lightly smoked and roasted Scottish pepper steak with potato terrine, kale and bacon with piccalilli and gravy
• Mushroom tortelloni with green asparagus, Parmesan cheese and truffle vinaigrette
Dessert
• Chocolate cake with mandarin marmalade, speculaas cream and red fruit
• Selection of mature cheeses
We have four luxury saloon boats with capacities of 20, 30, 60 and 70 guests. Groups of up to 110 people can be welcomed on our steamship Succes. This classic boat does not sail in Amsterdam’s canals, but along the most beautiful spots on the IJ and in Amsterdam’s old port area.
