Do something different for your next business dinner – instead of taking your colleagues to another restaurant, treat them to a one-of-a-kind evening with dinner aboard a Rederij Belle luxury saloon boat.  Your own private chef will cook delicious dishes for you and your guests while you sail on the Vecht River.  Bon voyage and bon appétit!

A 3-Course Meal, Prepared and Served as You Sail

Rederij Belle has been collaborating for many years with Amsterdam’s top restaurant Van de Kaart, which has resulted in a unique concept:  live cooking on board.  During a cruise on the Vecht River, a top Amsterdam chef will cook for you and your guests.  As you enjoy the comfort of one of Rederij Belle’s luxury saloon boats – Belle van Zuylen, Dame van Amstel or Adeline – your private chef will prepare a 3-course menu, delivered fresh from the onboard kitchen to your table.
While the menu is customisable, the head chef has specialities including licorice and basil marinated salmon with crab salad or a perfectly-grilled Black Angus steak.

Menu Selection

Do you have special culinary desires that you would like your private chef to create? Would you like to have a dinner with a theme or oriented in a particular cuisine? Our experienced private chef will use his imagination and expertise to make your culinary wishes come to life.

Live Cooking Cruise Program

  • 18:00
    Reception on board with a welcome drink of your choice. As the boat sets sail, the crew serves hors d‘oeuvres and cocktails. Meanwhile, the chef begins cooking.
  • 19:00
    The appetiser is served.
  • 20:00
    The chef presents the main course.
  • 21:00
    Time for dessert, followed by coffee and tea.
  • 22:00
    The programme ends; you are back at the place of departure.

Package Duration

The Live Cooking Package lasts approximately four hours and is available for groups of 25 people or more. Would you like to have dinner with a smaller group? Please contact us for special package arrangements and pricing.

Package price per person 

The price per person for this package is:

  • 25-35 people: € 149, –
  • 36-55 people: € 129, –

This price includes your three-course menu, drinks, private chef on board, service, ship rental and taxes.
