Amsterdam in the 17th century: a thriving trade metropolis, the beating heart of world trade and the scene of unprecedented artistic and cultural flourishing. A musical revolution took place in Europe: the Baroque emerged.
“Baroque on the Canals” brings these worlds together in a two-hour intimate cruise. On Sunday mornings, sailing whisper quietly along the iconic canals, the music of Vivaldi, Bach and Handel, played live by musicians from the Sweelinck Orchestra, will be heard.
In the period September 2025 to March 2026, we will sail along the canals six Sunday mornings with the Sweelinck Orchestra. Book your ticket now and immediately support this great student orchestra!
