Wedding Cruise on the Amstel

Getting Married on the Amstel River

Is it finally time to tie the knot?  Make your special day perfect by hosting your wedding on a Rederij Belle luxury saloon boat as you sail the beautiful Amstel River.  You, your special love and your guests can sail gradually from Amsterdam, one of the liveliest cities in the world, to the beautiful Dutch countryside.  At any point along the way, you and your partner can say those special words to make your union official.  Which location will you choose to exchange vows?  Perhaps in Amsterdam before you board, in the stunning Amstel Park, at the Ouderkerk (Old Church) in Uithoorn, or even right on your private boat as you sail the Amstel.

The Official Sail

The boats of Rederij Belle are official wedding locations of the municipality of Amsterdam.  That means an official of the Civil Registry could perform your marriage on board, provided that the boat remains within city limits.  A family member or friend can also officiate your ceremony by becoming an Extraordinary Officer of the Civil Registry.   Of course, the municipality in which you will marry depends on the location at which you want to exchange your vows. Let us know at which location you would like to get married, and we can help you ensure the official details are in place.

Return to Town as Newlyweds

A cruise on the Amstel ensures your wedding cruise will be anything but dull.  You and your partner can set sail from Amsterdam as an unmarried couple and return via your private saloon boat as newlyweds.  Of course, a one-way sail is also possible.  If this is the case, Rederij Belle can help you arrange transportation back to your point of disembarkation.

Capture Your Memories

No wedding is complete without a photographer to capture your special memories.  In today’s digital age, many couples also choose to capture their special day on “film” with a videographer.  Which do you prefer?
