Imagine it: you are sailing with some of your favorite people on your own private boat, enjoying the sun and sea breeze, when a hostess comes along with a menu from a fine restaurant on shore. After you make your choice, the hostess calls in your order. Meanwhile, your captain begins making his way toward the restaurant; when the dishes are finished, you dock and the meals are delivered, hot to your saloon boat where you will enjoy your meal…fresh and on your own private boat on the Amstel River.
A Unique Three-Course Package
Your Cuisine Cruise on the Amstel might look something like this:
- 18:00
You and your guests board and are welcomed with a drink. After a short speech by the captain, your cruise on the Amstel River begins. - 18:20
While admiring the passing views of the Amstel, you choose your appetiser, main course and dessert from the menu. Our hostess will then call in your choices to the restaurant as the captain slowly makes is way toward the restaurant. When the dishes are ready, they will be delivered to your boat. - 21:00
The programme comes to an end as you return to your place of departure.

Appetiser
- Licorice-basil marinated salmon with crab salad, soy-yuzu vinaigrette and cream of peas
- Homemade veal roast with salad and chips with truffle mayonnaise
- Melanzane salad with smoked tomato, crispy aubergine and pesto of fresh mint, pine nuts and ricotta
Main Courses
- Fried sea bass on the skin with Alaskan scallops, fennel mousseline and sauce Bouillabaisse
- Grilled Black Angus steak with potato and corn croquettes, grilled vegetables and homemade BBQ sauce

How Long Will You Sail the Amstel?
We make sure your cruise is long enough to enjoy the dinner and the view. The standard duration of the package is three hours, but you sail for longer, if you wish. Just say the word.
